President Tebboune Orders Storage Resort to Preserve Price Stability

Algiers: The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Sunday, during which he ordered both the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries and the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport to work to prevent farmers from incurring losses following to the decline in certain crops, by resorting to targeted storage to maintain price stability.

According to Algeria Press Service, the President of the Republic “ordered the Ministers of Agriculture and Interior to coordinate and ensure, through all necessary procedures, that farmers avoid losses from crop decline by using storage systems designed to keep prices stable,” the same source reported.
