Algiers: President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received directors and officials of public and private media outlets, engaging with them to discuss professional concerns and proposals aimed at advancing the media sector, the Presidency of the Republic announced in a statement. According to Algeria Press Service, President Tebboune listened to the directors and officials from various media outlets, focusing on industry-specific suggestions to further improve working conditions within the sector. The meeting underscored the President’s commitment to enhancing media operations and addressing the challenges faced by media professionals. On this occasion, President Tebboune also extended his New Year wishes to the attendees and, by extension, to all Algerian media professionals working both domestically and internationally. This gesture highlighted the President’s appreciation and support for the media community. The meeting saw the presence of key government figures, including the Chief of Staff at the Presidency of t he Republic, the Minister of Communication, the adviser of the President in charge of the General Directorate of Communication, and the official spokesman for the Presidency.
