President Tebboune’s Strategic Visit to Italy Strengthens Bilateral Ties

Rome: The official visit conducted by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Italy includes a busy agenda that mirrors the solidity of historical friendship ties and the reliable strategic partnership uniting the two countries. This visit aims to infuse greater dynamism into bilateral cooperation across various fields.

According to Algeria Press Service, President Tebboune arrived in Rome leading an important delegation. The visit is of major importance in consolidating historical friendship ties and strengthening bilateral relations in several sectors between the two nations.

During this visit, President Tebboune will receive a formal welcome from Italian President Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinal presidential palace, following established Italian diplomatic protocol. The two presidents will engage in discussions on bilateral cooperation and several regional and international issues of common interest.

Following his meeting with the Italian counterpart, President Tebboune will chair the 5th High-Level Algeria
n-Italian Inter-governmental Summit at the Chigi Palace. In the afternoon, he will oversee the closing of the Algerian-Italian Business Forum, where economic operators from both countries will explore investment opportunities and new partnerships in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and industry.

Several meetings are planned between members of the Algerian ministerial delegation and their Italian counterparts. These discussions aim to strengthen cooperation and explore partnership opportunities in new domains, in line with the orientations of both presidents. In recent years, bilateral relations have been marked by numerous projects and new agreements, enhancing dialogue and strategic cooperation between the two countries.
