Water Supply Achievements Remain Engraved on History, Says President Tebboune

El Tarf: The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, affirmed that what has been accomplished to supply Algerians with water will remain engraved on history.

According to Algeria Press Service, after following technical presentations on the ‘Koudiet Eddraouche’ seawater desalination plant in the municipality of Berrihane in El Tarf province, which he inaugurated, President Tebboune underscored the significance of the achievements in water supply. He emphasized that these large-scale projects honor what he described as “victorious Algeria.”

The President expressed his gratitude to all contributors, both directly and indirectly, to the construction of the plant. He also expressed hope that the two remaining projects would soon be completed, enhancing water supply from the far East to the far West.

President Tebboune praised the collaboration between workers and executives, which he credited for this historic achievement. The inauguration ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials, including the Deputy Minister to the Minister of National Defence, General Sad Chanegriha, the Minister of Energy, Mining and Renewable Energy, Mohamed Arkab, the Minister of Interior, Brahim Merad, and the Minister of Water Resources, Taha Derbal, along with other civil and military authorities of El Tarf province.
