Ljubljana: Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar welcomed the excellent cooperation between Slovenia and Algeria during President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s state visit. President Pirc Musar expressed her pleasure in hosting the Algerian delegation and highlighted the robust collaboration between the two nations across multiple sectors.
According to Algeria Press Service, President Pirc Musar emphasized the focus on expanding cooperation in fields such as artificial intelligence, law enforcement, renewable energy, agriculture, water technology, and the space industry. She underscored the significance of the commercial partnership in the energy sector, particularly noting Algeria’s role in supplying half of Slovenia’s annual gas consumption. This partnership was further solidified with the signing of a natural gas supply contract for 2026-2027.
President Tebboune’s visit to Slovenia commenced on Monday, marking a step forward in strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries at the invitation of the Slovenian President.
