Casablanca: Six individuals have been referred to prosecution in connection with an armed robbery that took place in France. Preliminary findings from the investigation indicate that technical operations carried out by the National Brigade of Judicial Police led to the seizure of 31 mobile phones stolen during the attack last February. The robbery targeted a store belonging to a mobile phone distribution company.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, operations conducted as part of this case also resulted in the arrest of two merchants in Marrakech and Rabat, along with four other individuals. These suspects are believed to be involved in the possession, trafficking, and sale of mobile phones stolen during the armed robbery in France. Several electronic devices of suspicious origin were also seized during the investigations.
The suspects were brought before the competent prosecutor’s office at the end of the investigations. This action is part of the bilateral security cooperation and mutual coordination
between Morocco’s Directorate General of National Security and the French National Police.
