Algiers: President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a phone call from the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, expressing gratitude for Algeria’s gesture of pardoning writer Boualem Sansal.
According to Algeria Press Service, the discussion between the two leaders also covered the positive relations between Algeria and Germany. The conversation highlighted the friendly ties and mutual respect that define the relationship between the two nations.
The call underscored the commitment of both countries to maintain and strengthen their bilateral relations. The leaders emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and dialogue.
