Algiers: President of the Republic presided over the opening ceremony of the 4th IATF in the morning, at the Abdellatif-Rahal International Conference Centre in Algiers, in the presence of heads of state and heads of delegations participating in the event, senior state officials and members of the government.
According to Algeria Press Service, in a speech, the President of the Republic said that Algeria was proud to host the IATF 2025, which, he said, was being held in a “very sensitive global context where events are accelerating at an unprecedented pace.” He emphasised that “Algeria will actively contribute to efforts to meet the challenge of African development.”
Over 2,000 companies from Africa and other countries, including nearly 200 Algerian companies, and delegations representing 140 countries are participating in the IATF 2025, to run until 10 September. It is expected to result in the conclusion of trade and investment agreements worth USD44 billion.
