Algiers: President Tebboune received various national and foreign personalities as part of the events marking the 70th anniversary of the Revolution. The attendees included notable figures such as Abdelwahab Bakli, a mujahid and former minister, as well as Roseanglea Mattei, the granddaughter of Enrico Mattei, an active member of the International Association of Algerian Revolution Friends, along with her husband, Alessandro Cortese. Vo Hong Nam, the son of Vietnam’s celebrated general Vo Nguyen Giap, and Zwelivelile Mandela, the grandson of South African leader Nelson Mandela, were also present.
According to Algeria Press Service, the president also welcomed Esteban Silva Cuadra, a friend of the Algerian Revolution and member of the International Association of Algerian Revolution Friends. Among the distinguished guests were Pablo Sepulveda Allende, grandson of Chile’s former president Salvador Allende, Aleida Guevara, daughter of Ernesto Che Guevara, and Maria Do Nascimento da Garça Amorim, former Foreign
Affairs minister of Sao Tome-et-Principe. These interactions highlighted the international solidarity and historical connections rooted in the Algerian Revolution.
