President Tebboune Holds Talks with Vietnamese Prime Minister

Algiers: President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune welcomed Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation at the Presidency of the Republic on Wednesday.

According to Algeria Press Service, the official reception ceremony took place in the Presidential Palace hall, where President Tebboune introduced Prime Minister Chinh to prominent figures in Algeria’s history, spanning from the resistance era to the post-independence period. The event marked a significant moment in Algerian-Vietnamese diplomatic relations.

Following the introductions, expanded discussions were held between the Algerian and Vietnamese delegations. Present during these talks were prominent Algerian officials, including Boualem Boualem, Chief of Staff at the Presidency of the Republic, Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ammar Abba, Adviser to the President of the Republic in charge of Diplomatic Affairs, Kamal Rezig, Minister of Foreign Trade and Exports Promotion, and Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, Minister of Housing, Urbanism, the City and National Planning.

The meeting underscored the strong diplomatic ties between Algeria and Vietnam, focusing on cooperation across various sectors.
