Algiers: The ceremony marking National Army Day, led by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, concluded on Monday afternoon at the National Army Circle in Beni Messous, Algiers.
According to Algeria Press Service, President Tebboune honoured retired members of the People’s National Army, descendants of the National Liberation Army, families of martyrs of national duty, and individuals seriously disabled or injured in the fight against terrorism.
Following the ceremony, President Tebboune posed for a souvenir photograph with all the honoured members. The event concluded as he departed the National Army Circle, where he was seen off by General Sad Chanegriha, the deputy minister to the Minister of National Defence and Chief of the Army Staff.
