Paris: Morocco has significantly increased its presence at the IFTM Top Resa, a major international tourism fair held in Paris. The event’s official inauguration, which annually gathers key decision-makers from the market, was attended by His Majesty the King’s ambassador in France, Samira Sitail, the CEO of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (MNTO), Achraf Fayda, and presidents of the Kingdom’s regional tourism councils, as noted in a press release by the MNTO.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the MNTO is preparing for an “ambitious presence” at the 2025 edition of the fair. The Moroccan pavilion, which initially covered nearly 300 square meters, is expanding to include two additional spaces dedicated to the featured destinations, Dakhla and Fez-Meknes. This expansion will bring Morocco’s total representation to over 400 square meters, making it the largest pavilion at the trade show. This event is recognized as a leading platform for business travel, MICE, leisure, and group tourism.
This collective initiative underscores the MNTO’s commitment to enhancing Morocco’s visibility in French and international markets, highlighting the richness and diversity of its tourism offerings. The press release further emphasized the importance of the French market as a foundational pillar for Moroccan tourism. Achraf Fayda stated that their strategy aims to leverage this long-standing relationship into an even more formidable force, with France being Morocco’s leading partner in this sector.
