Algiers: The presidency’s communications office on Monday expressed its sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the family of journalist Noureddine Merdaci, who passed away at the age of 82.
According to Algeria Press Service, “It was with great sadness and affliction that the communications office of the presidency of the Republic learned of the passing away of journalist Noureddine Merdaci, after a long and rich career in several newspapers, including the prestigious daily El Moudjahid,” the condolence message said.
In this painful ordeal, “the communications office of the presidency of the Republic extends its sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the family of the deceased, praying to Almighty Allah to grant him His holy mercy and welcome him in His vast paradise. ‘To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.'”
