Ljubljana: The president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, emphasized Algeria’s dedication to peace during a meeting in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Speaking alongside Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar, Tebboune reiterated that Algeria is a peaceful state, primarily focused on establishing peace in the region, the Mediterranean, and globally.
According to Algeria Press Service, President Tebboune declared, “In spite of all that is said here and there, Algeria remains a peaceful state, whose main concern is establishing peace in the region, in the Mediterranean and in the entire world.” He highlighted Algeria’s long-standing commitment to resolving crises through dialogue and understanding, rather than violence, since gaining independence.
Tebboune further noted the alignment of Algeria’s foreign policy with Slovenia’s, expressing a desire to strengthen the special relationship between the two countries. He emphasized intentions to enhance trade and economic exchanges with Slovenia in the near future.
