Algiers: The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a message of congratulations from the President of the Republic of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Liberation Revolution.
According to Algeria Press Service, in the message, Mattarella wrote: “Your celebration of the anniversary of the Algerian Revolution is a beautiful opportunity to extend to you, Your Excellency the President and my dear friend, the warm congratulations of the Italian people, along with my sincere and heartfelt best wishes.”
Mattarella highlighted the impact of Tebboune’s recent visit to Italy, stating that it contributed to strengthening the excellent relations between the two nations and enhancing cooperation. He emphasized the profound historical ties that are currently characterized by dynamism in numerous fields, as confirmed by the outcomes of the fifth intergovernmental summit.
He further expressed his wishes to “continue cooperation for the benefit of our two peoples, under our mutual commitment to security and stability on both sides of the Mediterranean.”
