Algiers: The CEO of Sonarem Group, Belkacem Sultani, received a delegation from the Chinese company ‘CBTDC’ to explore collaboration opportunities focusing on developing the Gara Djebilet mine project, particularly in reducing the phosphorus content in the extracted iron ore, the group said in a press release.
According to Algeria Press Service, the meeting between Sonarem Group and CBTDC marks a significant step towards international collaboration in the mining sector. The discussions centered on leveraging Chinese expertise to optimize the extraction process and enhance the quality of iron ore by effectively reducing its phosphorus content.
