Road Accident in Tiaret: President Tebboune Offers Condolences to Victims’ Families

Tiaret: President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune extended Thursday his condolences to the families of the victims of a tragic road accident in the province of Tiaret, where two students lost their lives and 33 others were injured.

According to Algeria Press Service, the devastating collision occurred in Aïn Lemsane, on the road connecting Frenda to Aïn Kermes in Tiaret province. The accident claimed the lives of two students and left 33 others injured, including three in serious condition, as they were on their way to school. In his message, President Tebboune expressed his sorrow and prayed for the deceased students, offering his heartfelt condolences to their families during this difficult time. He also extended his wishes for a swift recovery to those injured in the accident.

The President attributed the tragedy to the reckless driving of a tractor-trailer that collided with a school bus. He acknowledged the efforts of the Civil Protection units, who responded rapidly by rescuing the injured and tr
ansferring them to healthcare facilities in Sougueur and Tiaret. President Tebboune urged relevant institutions and authorities to enhance their efforts and vigilance in combating road accidents, which continue to impact lives.
