Shenzhen, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, attended the Shenzhen Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference 2023, held in China.
The minister emphasised the country’s commitment to supporting the youth’s creativity and innovation in various domains.
She affirmed that investing in youth is crucial for the future and achieving growth and development goals.
Bahrain has launched initiatives and programmes to encourage youth to contribute to national projects and contribute their ideas, paving the way for innovation and leadership, she added.
During her speech, the minister underlined Bahrain’s commitment to identifying and promoting innovative and creative young talents, whose potential is a national asset.
She emphasised the importance of nurturing and empowering youth to create an ideal environment for youth to innovate.
Bahrain also aims to establish global connections to exchange experiences and successful experiences among innovative young talents, she added.
The Minister of Youth Affairs highlighted Bahrain’s efforts to support innovative youth, including the launch of the National Strategy for Youth Empowerment 2023-2028.
The strategy aims to empower youth, attract local and international organisations, and enhance cooperation and partnerships, she said.
