The international press has relayed certain misleading and malicious statements, made from Morocco, concerning Algeria and its regional role as well as its relations with a third country.
This untimely act, whose real instigator is none other than Nasser Bourita, in his capacity as Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Morocco, reflects a dull desire to drag its new Middle Eastern ally into a risky adventure against Algeria, its values and its positions of principle.
This dangerous adventurism that bets on the worst, constitutes a formal denial to the alleged ‘hand extended’ that Moroccan propaganda continues to spread improperly and in vain.
The public exercise, that the Maghreb peoples have all witnessed, reflects a suicidal flight forward, so true that the head of Moroccan diplomacy is trying cunningly to add to his desperate attempt to distort the nature of the Western Sahara conflict, which remains an issue of decolonization, a new actor represented by a Middle Eastern military force that continues to refuse peace Just and lasting with the Palestinian people and resorting to the Arab peace initiative, which Algeria remains sincerely committed to.
