Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Social Development Minister received Ebrahim Dawood Nonoo, President of the House of Ten Commandments (HOTC).
The meeting reviewed the goals of the synagogue, and its social and cultural activities and events, in cooperation with various authorities.
The meeting also discussed means to enhance cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development.
Al Asfoor affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to social justice and fostering humanitarian values, through respect for human rights and basic freedoms, noting that Bahrain has a unique experience in consolidating religious freedoms.
He stressed the ministry’s support to civil society organizations that set goals to contribute to enhancing societal stability in the Kingdom.
