ALGIERS- Prime Minister Aïmen Benabderrahmane will install on Saturday, in Algiers, the National Council of Scientific Research and Technologies (CNRST), an advisory body placed under President of the Republic, the Prime Minister’s Office said Friday in a statement.
“Prime Minister Aïmen Benabderrahmane will install on Saturday 26 March 2022, at the International Conference Center (CIC) Abdellatif Rahal, the National Council of Scientific Research and Technologies (CNRST),” said the source.
“This Council is an advisory constitutional body placed under the President of the Republic. It is made up of 45 members of different professional and scientific backgrounds, working in the country or established abroad,” said the source, adding that CNRST “is responsible for promoting the national research in technological and scientific innovation fields, proposing measures enabling the development of the national research capacities and assessing the efficiency of the national mechanisms for the promotion of research results for the benefit of the national economy.”
