Rome: The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is paying an official visit on Tuesday to the friendly Republic of Italy, during which he will chair the 5th High-Level Algerian-Italian Intergovernmental Summit, the Presidency of the Republic said in a press release.
According to Algeria Press Service, President Tebboune’s departure from Houari Boumediene International Airport was attended by the Prime Minister, Nadir Larbaoui, Deputy Minister to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (PNA), General Sad Chanegriha, as well as the Chief of Staff to the Presidency of the Republic, Boualem Boualem.
After listening to the national anthem, the President of the Republic reviewed a formation of the Republican Guard which paid him honors. The press release highlighted that this visit holds particular significance for strengthening historical friendship ties and enhancing bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors between the two nations.
