President Tebboune sends condolences to family of Qadiriyya Kountia’s caliph general in Ndiassane

President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message of condolences to the family and followers of the Caliph General of the Qadiriyya Kountia brotherhood in Ndiassane (Senegal), Bekkaï Kounta, who passed away on Thursday, in which he recalled the qualities of the deceased, who, he said, “devoted his life to scholarship and the dissemination of Islamic precepts and the culture of coexistence and tolerance.”

[ECR] “O you who are at peace, return to your Lord, satisfied and pleased, enter among My servants and enter My paradise.” I have learned with great sadness of the death of Bekkaï Kounta, Caliph General of the Qadiriyya Kountia brotherhood in Ndiassane (Senegal), who devoted his life to scholarship and the dissemination of Islamic precepts and the culture of coexistence and tolerance,” wrote the President of the Republic in his message of condolence, adding that the deceased “was known for his generosity, altruism and greatness of soul.”

In this painful ordeal, President Tebboune presented to the family, relatives and followers of the deceased “his sincere condolences, praying to Almighty Allah to grant him His holy mercy and to welcome him into His vast paradise and to lend patience and comfort to all.
