Ljubljana: The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received an official welcome on Tuesday from his Slovenian counterpart, Natasa Pirc Musar, as part of the State visit he is paying to Slovenia.
According to Algeria Press Service, the welcome ceremony took place at Congress Square, where the two Presidents listened to the Algerian and Slovenian national anthems while a formation of the Slovenian Republican Guard rendered them honors. During the ceremony, President Tebboune greeted the Slovenian delegation of senior officials, and President Natasa Pirc Musar welcomed the Algerian delegation accompanying the President of the Republic during his visit.
Following the welcome ceremony, President Tebboune is scheduled to have one-on-one talks with his Slovenian counterpart, which will be extended to include members of the delegations from both countries. The President of the Republic arrived Monday in the capital Ljubljana, accompanied by a significant ministerial delegation, as part of a State visit at the invitation of the Slovenian President.
