President Tebboune Receives Former Nigerian President, Chairman of IATF Advisory Council

Algiers: The president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received Tuesday the former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, who is currently serving as the chairman of the Advisory Council of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025).

According to Algeria Press Service, this meeting underscores the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing trade cooperation within the African continent. Both leaders discussed strategies to improve intra-African trade and explored opportunities for collaboration in the lead-up to the IATF 2025.

The Intra-African Trade Fair aims to boost trade among African nations by providing a platform for businesses to showcase their products and services. As the chairman of the Advisory Council, Obasanjo plays a key role in facilitating these efforts and ensuring the success of the event.

President Tebboune and Obasanjo’s meeting is seen as a significant step towards reinforcing economic ties and promoting sustainable development in Africa. The discussions are expected to pave the way for more collaborative initiatives between Algeria and Nigeria, as well as other African countries.
