Algiers: President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Robert Floyd, the Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), along with his delegation during a meeting held in Algiers on Tuesday.
According to Algeria Press Service, the meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mohamed Arkab, the Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energy, and Abdallah Moundji, the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic.
The discussions during the audience are believed to have centered around Algeria’s engagement with the CTBTO and its commitment to the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty. The presence of key ministers highlights the significance of nuclear non-proliferation and energy matters in Algeria’s foreign policy agenda.
The visit by the Executive Secretary is indicative of ongoing international efforts to reinforce
