President Tebboune leaves Algiers for Russia

President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune left Algiers on Tuesday for a three-day State visit to Russia, at the invitation of his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, as part of the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries.

After listening to the national anthem, President Tebboune reviewed a detachment of the Republican Guard that gave him the honours, at Houari Boumediene international airport of Algiers.

The head of State was greeted as he left by Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane, the chief of the general staff of the People’s National Army, General Saïd Chanegriha, and the chief of staff to the presidency of the Republic, Mohamed Ennadir Larbaoui.

In the Russian city of Saint-Petersburg, the president of the Republic will take part in the works of the International Economic Forum.
