Algiers: President Tebboune has inaugurated a new drug manufacturing plant in the province of Constantine. The facility is dedicated to producing respiratory sprays, ear and throat medications, soft capsules at all stages, and oncology drugs. This development is part of the president’s working and inspection visit to the province, where he is set to inaugurate and inspect several vital development projects.
According to Algeria Press Service, President Tebboune toured the various production lines of the plant, which spans an area of 27,000 square metres. The new facility has generated 500 direct jobs, contributing significantly to the local economy. The president’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to advancing the pharmaceutical sector and supporting healthcare initiatives in the region.
