President Tebboune Implements Partial Reshuffle of Walis and Delegate Walis

Algiers: President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has executed a partial reshuffle among the walis (governors) and delegate walis, as declared in a press release from the Presidency of the Republic on Monday evening.

According to Algeria Press Service, the changes were made in alignment with Article 92 of the Constitution. The reshuffle includes the termination of Mustapha Koreich, who served as the Wali of Mila. Additionally, several walis have been transferred to new provinces: Foudil Douifi moves from Laghouat to Adrar, Mohamed Benmalek from Batna to Laghouat, Houria Aggoune from Guelma to Bouira, Samir Chibani from Oran to Guelma, Ali Moulay from Tipasa to Beni Abbes, Abdelkrim Lamouri from Bouira to Annaba, Brahim Ouchene from Blida to Oran, Fay§al Amrouche from In Guezzam to Mila, and Djamel Hashas from Beni Abbes to Blida.

The appointments of new walis include Noureddine Refsa, previously Delegate Wali of Dar El Beda, now Wali of In Guezzam; Amine Benchaoulia, previously Delegate Wali of the Administrative District of Sidi M’hamed, now Wali of Tipasa; and Benahmed Riadh, previously Delegate Wali of the Administrative District of Boussaada in M’sila, now Wali of Batna. Mahfoud Bouzertit, the Delegate Wali of the Administrative District of Cheraga, has also had his functions terminated.

New appointments for delegate walis have been made as follows: Abdelfattah Benguergoura is appointed Delegate Wali of the Administrative District of Cheraga (Algiers), Mahrez Mameri to Dar El Beda (Algiers), Zidi Abdelmalek to Sidi M’hamed (Algiers), Zougari Nacer to El Kantara (Biskra), Boudjezza Djamal to Bir El Ater (Tebessa), Amrani Attal to Boussaada (M’sila), Benbaba Ali Abdelkrim to El Aricha (Tlemcen), and Khalfaoui Hamid to Ksar El Boukhari (Medea).
