Algiers: The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, engaged in a phone conversation with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier. They discussed the global situation and reaffirmed the strong bilateral relations between their countries, as announced by the Presidency of the Republic in a press release.
According to Algeria Press Service, the conversation included discussions on pressing global issues, notably the Russia-Ukraine conflict, tensions in the Middle East, particularly the situation in Gaza, the attack against Iran, and the situation in the Sahel region.
The two leaders reviewed the excellent bilateral relations between Algeria and Germany. They expressed a mutual commitment to further strengthen these ties and collaborate on issues of common interest.
