President Tebboune Departs Algiers to Attend 38th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa: The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, departed from Algiers to Addis Ababa (Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia) on Thursday to lead the Algerian delegation at the 38th Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Summit of Heads of State and Government.

According to Algeria Press Service, after listening to the national anthem at the VIP lounge of Houari Boumediene International Airport, President Tebboune reviewed a formation of the Republican Guard, which paid him honors.

Upon his departure, President Tebboune was greeted by Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (PNA), Army General Sad Chanegriha, and the Chief of Staff at the Presidency of the Republic, Boualem Boualem.
