Algiers: President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired a medal awarding ceremony at the Palace of People, in Algiers. The event marked the commemoration of the 71st anniversary of the Revolution of 1 November 1954.
According to Algeria Press Service, shortly before the ceremony, President Tebboune was received at the Palace of the People by General Sad Chanegriha, the Deputy Minister of National Defence and the Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army.
The ceremony commenced with the national anthem, following which President Tebboune inspected formations of the People’s National Army. The forces rendered military honors during this part of the event.
