Algiers: The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the Minister of National Defense, chaired a Council of Ministers meeting on Sunday. The meeting primarily focused on discussing a bill related to mining activities, as well as new retirement measures for teachers and professors in the national education sector. Additionally, presentations were made on various other sectors, as reported by the Presidency of the Republic in a press release.
According to Algeria Press Service, the agenda of the meeting included a detailed review of a bill that aims to regulate mining activities within the country. The council also discussed support mechanisms for women who have been victims of violence. Furthermore, attention was given to the state of team sports and high-performance sports, alongside the significant topic of retirement measures for educators, which are expected to impact teachers and professors in the national education system.
