President Tebboune Advances Strategic Talks During Slovenia Visit

Ljubljana: The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, continues on Tuesday his State visit, following his arrival on Monday at the invitation of Slovenian counterpart, Natasa Pirc Musar. An official welcome ceremony will be held today at the Presidential Palace in Ljubljana for the President of the Republic, by his Slovenian counterpart with whom he will have one-on-one talks that will be extended to members of both delegations to examine new partnership opportunities and strengthen bilateral cooperation in all areas.

According to Algeria Press Service, the President of the Republic will hold talks with the Slovenian Prime Minister, Robert Golob, and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Slovenia, Urska Klakocar Zupancic. The discussions will focus on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for collaboration between the two nations.

The President of the Republic will also chair the opening of the Algerian-Slovenian Economic Forum, dedicated to examining ways to strengthen economi
c and commercial relations and to explore all opportunities offered, particularly in light of the notable evolution and positive dynamics of the two countries’ bilateral relations in recent years, in implementation of the strong will and common aspiration of the leaders of both countries.

The President of the Republic arrived Monday in Ljubljana, heading an important ministerial delegation composed, notably, of the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energy, Mohamed Arkab, the Minister of Industry, Sifi Ghrieb, the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Youcef Cherfa, the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises, Noureddine Ouadah, and the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Houria Meddahi.

The delegation also includes the Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), Omar Rekkache, as well as a significant num
ber of heads of public enterprises operating in different sectors and businessmen.
