Algiers: President of the Republic has expressed profound condolences following the death of Mujahid Ahmed Taleb Ibrahimi. “In the name of Allah, the Merciful and Compassionate, among the believers are men who have proven true to what they pledged to Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pledge with their lives, others are waiting their turn. They have never changed their commitment in the least. Allah has called back to Him the late Dr. Ahmed Taleb Ibrahimi, a worthy heir to a family renowned for its knowledge and piety. With his passing, Algeria loses an eminent, esteemed, and respected national figure,” he stated.
According to Algeria Press Service, the President highlighted Dr. Ibrahimi’s remarkable attributes, noting that he embodied the wisdom of a politician, the level-headedness of an intellectual, and the patriotism of a militant and mujahid. These qualities were evident from the time he joined the General Union of Algerian Muslim Students (UGEMA) in the 1950s and remained throughout his distingu
ished career. Dr. Ibrahimi held numerous high-ranking positions and was recognized as a great nationalist statesman dedicated to Algeria.
In his message, the President extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Dr. Ibrahimi’s family, praying for divine mercy upon the deceased and a place in paradise among the martyrs and saints. “To Allah, we belong, and to Him we return,” he concluded.
