President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune was honored on Monday for his efforts in favor of the Palestinian cause, at the end of the international conference commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Nakba, held at the “Abdelatif-Rahal” International Conference Centre (CIC, Algiers).
The award, a book of the Holy Quran in a box bearing a model of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock, was presented to the Minister of Mujahideen and Rightful Claimants, Laïd Rebiga, by President of the Palestinian National Assembly, Rouhi Fatouh, who said that this tribute from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is “a recognition of the role of President Tebboune in uniting the Palestinian ranks, and for his continuous efforts to mobilise Arab and international support for the Palestinian cause.”
On this occasion, Fatouh conveyed the greetings of the Palestinian president to his brother President Tebboune, expressing his pride in being with the Palestinian delegation in Algeria.
