Oil and Environment Minister, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina received Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) employee Aisha Khalid Mohammed who presented a copy of her MA dissertation themed “Proposal for a framework for the Environmental Product Design Center in the Kingdom of Bahrain”
The minister congratulated the researcher on graduating with a master’s degree obtained from the Royal University for Women (RUW) College of Arat and Design.
He stressed the importance of studies and scientific research in supporting the sustainable development in various environmental and climatic fields.
He stressed Bahrain’s commitment to support national cadres, who are one of the most important sources of research, knowledge and development assets for the nation.
He commended the academic research which shows the importance of design in finding innovative solutions in the environmental field with the aim of rationing waste.
He underscore the role of environmental designs in achieving the goals of sustainable development, and the impact of applying environmental product design in the public and private sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
