Khenchela: The Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and National Planning, Brahim Merad, chaired the installation ceremony of Salim Harizi as the new governor of Khenchela. Harizi replaces Youcef Mahiout, whose duties were terminated.
According to Algeria Press Service, the ceremony took place on Sunday, marking a significant administrative change for the local authority. The reasons for the termination of Mahiout’s duties were not disclosed during the event.
