Six Palestinians, including two journalists were wounded by Israeli forces bullets during their attack in Ramallah on Thursday and blew up a prisoner’s house claiming that he had carried out an operation last November.
The six Palestinians wounded by bullets were taken to hospital, one was hit with live bullets and the others with rubber bullets, including two journalists, said Palestinian Ministry of Health in a statement.
More than 100 military vehicles stormed Ramallah and surrounded the house of the prisoner Islam Farroukh’s family and witnessed violent confrontations between dozens of Palestinians and Israeli army, eyewitnesses added.
The Israeli forces had earlier charged in November the prisoner, Islam Farroukh, with the double bombing of bus stations in Al-Quds, which resulted in the killing of settlers and the injury of dozens.
Meanwhile, the spokesman for the “Fatah” movement, Abdel Fattah Doula said the storming of Ramallah is the fascist right-wing government’s persistence in its aggression and crimes against the Palestinian people, and another failed attempt to subdue it.
For their part, the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate condemned, on Thursday, the continued systematic targeting and crimes against Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation forces.
The Syndicate stressed that “the perpetrators of these crimes will not escape punishment, and the Syndicate will continue its efforts to prosecute these criminal killers in the international courts and the International Criminal Court.”
