Iraq PM, Iran FM discuss Palestine situation

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Al-Sudani and Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian on Thursday tackled the latest Palestinian situation, bilateral relations and Arab and Islamic issues.

Both sides addressed the tragic situation of Palestinian territories and the Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip, the Iraqi Presidency said in a press release.

The Iraqi prime minister reiterated Iraq’s relentless and principled support for the Palestinian people’s rights, including an independent Palestinian state, while calling on the international community to move to save the people of Gaza.
