Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received a phone call from Iraqi Defense Minister Thabet Al-Abbasi, congratulating him on his new ministerial post.
In a statement on Sunday, Kuwait Army General Staff said that Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad expressed gratitude for Al-Abbasi’s call, which reflects the depth of Kuwaiti-Iraqi ties.
During the call, the two sides exchanged views on issues of common interest and reviewed the latest regional and international developments.
