Rabat: This noble gesture ordered by the Sovereign demonstrates ‘His Majesty the King’s constant commitment to the Palestinian cause and deep sensitivity’ to the suffering of the Palestinians, Serra told MAP.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, this initiative includes the dispatch of 100 tons of foodstuffs and medicine, intended as emergency aid and delivered directly to ‘the most vulnerable groups, particularly children and infants who live in fear and uncertainty.’
His Majesty the King insisted that this aid, like previous ones, be transported by air and delivered directly and urgently to Palestinian beneficiaries, ‘without intermediaries or delays, as a sign of solidarity which transcends words into concrete actions,’ noted Serra, who is also an expert in international affairs.
He further noted that ‘this Royal gesture is part of a tradition of humanitarian commitment that the Sovereign has firmly upheld over the years in His capacity as Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee.’
