Algiers: President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, ordered, in a meeting of the Council of ministers he chaired on Sunday, rigorous efforts to ensure that the 2025 harvest-threshing campaign achieves results exceeding those recorded during the previous season.
According to Algeria Press Service, President Tebboune instructed the holding of a meeting at the conclusion of the harvest campaign to evaluate the achievements and efforts of farmers and the sector’s executives. This initiative aims to assess the progress and strategize for future improvements in agricultural productivity.
Furthermore, the President emphasized the need to renew and better structure the organization chart responsible for implementing the sector’s plans, indicating a focus on efficiency and improved coordination.
In preparation for the summer season and to accommodate the national community residing abroad, President Tebboune highlighted the importance of implementing necessary measures to enhance services and support at airports and ports. This includes introducing streamlined procedures for Algerian passport holders to facilitate a smoother entry into the country.
Regarding the productive family program, the President reiterated the duty of providing support and assistance to Algerian women, emphasizing the importance of empowering women within the community.
