Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, and his American counterpart Antony Blinken on Wednesday held a conversion over the phone which covered bilateral relations alongside a number of regional and international cases of joint interest. A statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry mentioned Blinken’s keenness on the exchange of ideas on issues both nations are facing, starting with Sudan, Libya, and Palestine, were as FM Shoukry also presented his side on those matters.
Adding, Blinken also valued Egypt’s role in the region as clashes in Sudan have erupted security measures, while also mentioning his country’s determination to facilitate the matter in joint efforts with Egypt to end the conflict.
The Phone call between both FMs reflected the better part of the relations and the prospected view on strengthening relations and achieving stability in the region.
The statement also pointed to Blinken’s account, confirming strategic cooperation with Egypt, alongside ways of strengthen them, to include economic, development, and security undertakings.
