Death of Former Vietnamese President: Nasri Signs Condolence Book on Behalf of President Tebboune

Algiers: The speaker of the Council of the Nation (upper house of Parliament), Azzouz Nasri, signed Monday, on behalf of the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, at the embassy of Vietnam in Algiers, the book of condolence, following the death of former president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Tran Duc Luong.

According to Algeria Press Service, the condolence message expressed profound sadness over the passing of Tran Duc Luong, highlighting his life dedicated to the service of the Vietnamese people. The message conveyed sincere condolences on behalf of President Tebboune, the Algerian government, and its people to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, including its citizens, political party, and government.

The condolence message further paid homage to Tran Duc Luong’s respected place in the hearts of the Vietnamese people, acknowledging his notable contributions to the development of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. It emphasized his steadfast and principled stance, as well as his commitment to the values of the Vietnamese revolution, which he supported from a young age.

The message also recognized Tran Duc Luong’s virtues and activist legacy, asserting that they will remain a lasting inspiration in the history of the Vietnamese Republic. The speaker reiterated Algeria’s solidarity with Vietnam during this challenging time and expressed confidence in the Vietnamese people’s ability to overcome the situation.
