Czech, Georgia tied in group six of Euro ’24

The Czech and Georgian teams tied 1-1, Saturday, in Group 6 of the European Championship (Euro 2024). In the match held at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, Germany, the Georgian team opened the scoring in stoppage time of the first half through a penalty kick by Georges Mikautadze, while Czech player Patrik Schick managed to score the tie goal in minute 59. According to this result, Turkiye remains at the top of the group with three points, while Portugal is in second place with three points as well, and Czech Republic and Georgia are in third and fourth place with one point.
