The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune visited Friday the “BYD” Company, specialized in the manufacturing of electric vehicles, located in the city of Shenzhen, in southern China.
Accompanied by a ministerial delegation on his state visit to the People’s Republic of China on Monday, President Tebboune toured the company’s various departments and listened to its managers explain the new technologies used in electric car manufacturing.
During the visit, the President of the Republic reaffirmed that Algeria “offers every facility and numerous advantages to foreign investors, including automobile manufacturers, who are welcome in our country.”
“Our country is well qualified to be an automotive manufacturing hub, given its strategic position in Africa and its proximity to Europe,” he continued.
