Strengthening Common Commercial, Economic Cooperation Examined

Algiers: Minister of Foreign Trade and Exports Promotion, Kamel Rezig, received on Sunday, in Algiers, the head of the delegation of the European Union (EU) in Algeria, Diego Mellado, with whom he examined ways of strengthening common commercial and economic cooperation, the ministry said in a press release.

According to Algeria Press Service, the meeting focused on exploring avenues to enhance bilateral trade relations and economic partnerships between Algeria and the European Union. Discussions centered on identifying mutual interests and potential areas for collaboration that could benefit both parties. The ministry emphasized the importance of fortifying these ties to foster economic growth and development.

The press release highlighted that both officials expressed a strong commitment to deepening economic ties, which would include exploring new trade agreements and investment opportunities. The meeting underscored the strategic importance of maintaining a robust economic dialogue and the potential for
creating a more integrated economic framework between Algeria and the EU.
