According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Estrosi-Sassone, who is on a working visit to Morocco at the head of a French Senate delegation, highlighted the remarkable developments achieved by the Kingdom in all strategic sectors, noting that it is at the forefront of several current issues, particularly that of energy transition.
She spoke of the Moroccan automotive industry’s excellence, noting that the Kingdom has developed a genuine ecosystem around automotive production, complete with a value chain covering combustion engine, electric, and hybrid vehicles.
This assessment is particularly important amid the European automotive industry’s current difficult climate. ‘The automotive industry in France, as in Europe, is experiencing a major crisis,’ Estrosi-Sassone said, referring to the launch of a mission dedicated to the future of this industry.
The official further stressed the importance of enshrining the Morocco-France partnership and maintaining mutually beneficial bilateral relations.
