Kasarani: FIFA President expressed his happiness for Morocco’s triumph as they claimed their third CHAN title. The national team emerged victorious against Madagascar with a 3-2 scoreline in a match held at the Moi International Sports Centre.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the FIFA President emphasized the difficulty of the match, describing it as a tough game and a real final. He praised Morocco for fully deserving the win and showcasing themselves as the best team in the competition.
The FIFA President also acknowledged the crowd’s enthusiasm, which he said signifies the growth of football across the continent. He conveyed his happiness for Africa, Morocco, and FIFA as a whole.
The Atlas Lions, who were also champions in 2018 and 2020, secured victory with goals from Youssef Mehri in the 27th minute and Oussama Lamlaoui, who scored twice in the 44th and 80th minutes. Lamlaoui’s second goal was a memorable match-winner struck from midfield. Madagascar’s goals were scored by F©licit© Mantasoa in the 9th minute and Toky Rakotondraibe in the 68th minute.
